The Chicago Academy of Sciences and its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum wishes to thank the Public Museum Capital Grants Program of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). The grant program funded the first phase of our Exhibition Space Expansion Project which moved our Finance and External Affairs offices from the Museum's first floor to an underutilized space on the third floor. The project will provide more exhibit space on the first floor for visitors to enjoy one contiguous exhibit area.
