TEENS

Are you a high school student interested in nature, environmental issues, habitat restoration and building new friendships? Then apply to the Teenagers Exploring and Explaining Nature and Science (TEENS) program.
TEENS is a free program that connects teenagers with nature, fosters their environmental consciousness, and exposes them to careers in environmental science, sustainability and conservation. Participants meet two Saturdays per month and explore topics such as invasive species, Chicago ecology, sustainability, and green living practices. Through field trips and museum-based activities, TEENS work directly with museum educators, scientists, and conservation partners. Service learning hours and access to paid opportunities can be earned through participation.
How do I apply?
If you would like to be a participant in the TEENS program, and you are of high school age, please download and complete an application. Space is limited.
