From Beneath the Ashes

Using the From Beneath the Ashes Video

Introduce the activity to your students by showing the From Beneath the Ashes video. Afterward, take the opportunity to discuss the students' reactions to the events at Yellowstone and complete the hands-on discovery activity, Sprouting Life. The concept of human interaction with the environment is reinforced in the video and in the activity. Allow the students to make their own connections as much as possible. Repeated viewings of the video, or selected portions of the video, are recommended.
