Journey to Save a Crane
Using the Journey to Save a Crane Video
Introduce the activity to your students by showing the Journey to Save
a Crane video. Afterward, take the opportunity to discuss the students'
reactions to the events at the International Crane Foundation and complete
the hands-on activity, Wetland Model. The concept of human interaction
with the environment is reinforced in the video and in the activity. Allow
the students to make their own connections as much as possible. Repeated
viewings of the video, or selected portions of the video, are recommended.
