About the Guide

The activities in this program are arranged in flexible thematic Curriculum Units which can be completed in any order you choose. These units can be introduced with the video and with short biographical sketches designed to be printed and distributed to your students as part of the unit introduction. All of these biographies can be found together in the Career Connections section.

Each unit includes background information, activity instructions, additional activities to help students connect what they have learned, a list of books to read, and suggestions for World Wide Web excursions.
