LET THE BURN BEGIN!!!!!
John is starting the burn with a drip torch.
Our class is controlling the fire so it doesn't burn the prairie that
shouldn't be burned. We are using flappers to smother the fire.
The fire is growing and John is still going. The flames are approximately
ten to fifteen feet high!!!!!!!!
RED BUFFALO
The Indians and pioneers called the fire "Red Buffalo" because
it sounds like a herd of buffalo.
