CHATSWORTH ELEMENTARY

CHATSWORTH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is one of three elementary schools in the Prairie Central School District. The District is located in Central Illinois and the communities are small, rural, and primarily agriculturally based with some light industry.

Chatsworth Elementary School enrollment is 302 in a Pre. K through sixth grade building. The Principal is Blaise DeMuth and there are 24 certified staff members and 11 non-certified staff members. Chatsworth Elementary is involved in a Museum Online Program with the Chicago Academy of Science. The project currently involves sixth grade students under lead teacher Diane Kerber. Planning is beginning to extend the project to other grade levels.
