Museum in the Classroom Project

Museum in the Classroom is a state-wide program. Our school is participating in co-operation with the Chicago Acadeny of Sciences. The Acadamy's program is called TEEE. This stands for Threatened, Endangered, Extirpated, and Extinct. Threatened is when a certain species of animal is being killed and is in danger of becoming endangered. Endangered is when a species is becoming much less common and might become extinct or extirpated. Extirpated is when an animal is gone from some place but still exists in others. Extinct is when a an animal is gone, everywhere.
