Using a microscope to make observations.

Microscopes
are helpful
to see details
in an object
which we cannot see
with our eyes
alone.
There are many different types of microscopes. Some are electric with special lights fixed above or beneath their specimen trays, while some use just the regular light in a room or natural light from the sun.
Some have different lenses you can move to change the amount of magnification, while others have only a single lens.

Some microscopes even
have special eyepieces
which help to
magnify or correct
your vision!

This is what the Mystery "Rock" looks like
on the tray beneath the microscope lens.

Describe what the
Mystery "Rock" looks like
under the microscope.
Make sure you write
your notes down
in your journal
before making more
observations.
Or, if you are done making observations,
you can continue with your investigation...
